VOLXkino is Vienna’s first and oldest open-air cinema to be screened as an open-air wandering cinema in parks, and invites audiences to movie screenings on social housing complexes, public spaces, markets, on the Gürtel or on the outskirts of the city, always with FREE ENTRY.
A selected film programme is presented, with award-winning and international films from recent years, as well as film festival successes from all over the world. A few VOLXkino locations show programmes that are coordinated with the places where they’re shown. Audiences also get to view films that have never been shown in Austrian before.
