Architekturzentrum Wien

Since its foundation in 1993, the Architekturzentrum Wien (Az W) has established itself as a platform for architecture mediation and the only Austrian architecture museum. The continuous expansion of its collection, which comprises the history of Austrian architecture from 1850 until today, is presented in the permanent exhibition a_schau. Moreover, the Az W is a renowned research and knowledge centre, which as a mediator of architecture has become the centre of Austrian building culture.

The Az W also offers an extensive programme of events and services for all those interested in architecture and the art of building. Erste Bank supports the Az W’s ARCHITECTURE LOUNGE, an information and knowledge platform for decision makers from the fields of economy, politics and architecture.
