Each March, this festival brings animation film art by women from all over the world to Vienna. The programme features a variety of ambitious short films, ranging from classical cartoon to digital animation and covering various themes and production styles.
In addition to a competition, the festival presents special programmes and retrospectives on ever-changing themes and provides a broad overview of animated filmmaking by international female artists as well as Austrian filmmakers.
