Jazzland

Since Jazzland was founded by Axel Melhardt in 1972, numerous national and international jazz stars have performed in the basement under St. Rupert’s Church. Jazzland’s main goal is to present the entire history of jazz and to provide a stage on which all the niches and facets of the genre can be extensively explored – from blues and avant-garde through to classical jazz.
