Art Association

The art association DAS WEISSE HAUS is an exhibition space and a non-profit organisation that promotes and presents young art. It offers artists from the fields of fine arts, photography, video and media art various forms of presentation – from large solo exhibitions (often the artist’s first) to cross-media group exhibitions. The support of national as well as international young art is the primary focus.

Since its foundation in 2007, the art association has used vacant buildings on a temporary basis. Alternating solo and group exhibitions as well as project-space presentations take place on the premises and are complemented by additional events that enhance the programme. These include artists’ talks, guided tours, lectures, film evenings and presentations of permanent installations.
